Power = Force x Velocity
The Number 1 Fitness Priority For Golfers Should Be STRENGTH!
The older you are, the more important strength training becomes. Over time, we lose our ability to produce velocity faster than we lose the ability to produce force, aka, strength.
Tiger Woods does not have the body speed he had in his twenties, but he is much stronger. As a result, he is still able to generate substantial power with his golf swing.
As we age, we also lose muscle and bone density. That produces a hugely negative effect on our ability to play golf at an advanced age.
However, we can offset both with legitimate strength training.

The Pure Strength Training Program
The Pure Strength Training Program incorporates the use of traditional barbell lifts to help you develop considerable strength quickly and efficiently. These lifts include…
- The barbell squat
- The deadlift
- Bench Press
- Overhead Press
As a result, you will need access to a full gym or your own equipment, including an Olympic Barbell set, power rack with lat pulldown, and a bench.
The program is designed to be completed within six months, but this time frame may vary due to your training consistency, illness, vacations, etc.
Over time, additional exercises are introduced as the training becomes more difficult and complex.
The program also includes a Diet and Nutrition Guide to help you understand how much and what you should be eating.
Once you get through the program, you will also be provided guidance on how to continue with your training to not only maintain, but to continue you with new strength gains.
