Fit Father ProjectIn an effort to find a program for busy golfers who are looking to get in better shape, I found the Fit Father Project.

One topic I constantly preach about is the topic of improving your golf game through improved fitness.  However, if you have a full time job, and you are trying to become a better golfer, you likely don’t have much time to work on your fitness.

One really good solution I’ve found that is geared specifically toward people with busy lifestyles is Fit Father Project.

Don’t be mislead by the name… it is a good solution for both men and women.

Fit Father Project is the brainchild of Dr. Anthony Balduzzi.  Dr. Balduzzi designed Fit Father Project initially for fathers with busy lifestyles.  However, the program has evolved to help ANYONE who wants to get in better shape, but who doesn’t have time to spend hours at the gym.

Many avid golfers fit this profile.

Golf takes up a lot of our time, so we arrange our schedules to fit in nine holes, or at least an hour at the range, a few times per week.  This is just what we do because we love the game so much.

As a result, many golfers neglect their fitness.  Not surprisingly, their games suffer as a result.

When you are out of shape, you lack strength and flexibility.  I’ve watched many of my friends lose a considerable amount of distance off the tee because they haven’t worked on their fitness.

Yet, we see the likes of Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods hitting the ball with swing speeds not far off from where they were 15 years ago.

The beauty of Fit Father Project is that it provides you with a workout plan that includes workouts that can be completed in 30 minutes or less, AND it provides you with a complementary meal plan.

This combination has allowed many people to achieve pretty incredible results within a fairly short period of time.

These are also just regular, everyday people, who lead busy lives, not fitness nuts who are spending a ridiculous amount of time in the gym and counting every single calorie they consume.

Golfers just don’t have time for all of that…they’ve got to be on the golf course (or somewhere practicing) when they have free time!

Another cool thing about Fit Father Project is you don’t actually need to go to a gym… you can do most of the workouts at home.  You also don’t need a ton of equipment… some dumbbells or kettlebells can do the trick.

As I mentioned, the program originally started out with a focus on men, particularly fathers 40 and over.  This was due to the fact that Dr. Balduzzi lost his father at a young age, and initially focused on fathers when he set up the program.

However, he now has a program designed specifically for women, which is cool, because women are a huge part of the golf community.

The bottom line is this… if you are 40 and over, and you want to keep playing your best golf, you are going to have to focus some attention on your fitness.

Many of us do find a way to work on our fitness during the winter months.  But, it’s important to maintain focus on your fitness during golf season.  This will also help you prevent injury so that you don’t miss time on the course!

With all this in mind, I highly recommend you check out the Fit Father Project.  You can started for as little as $7 with their $7 Trial.

Thanks for reading!
