Junior Golf

Teaching junior golfers is my top priority. As a result, I specialize in the development and teaching of junior golfers throughout Maryland and Southcentral PA.  As a former top junior player in Pennsylvania, and a student of athletic development and education, I understand how junior players learn and am committed to helping them reach their potential. Whether the young golfer is interested in learning the game, or wants to play at the highest level, I have the teaching skills required to help them meet their goals.

Lessons

Private lessons are offered to junior golfers at $70 for a one hour lesson.  A 5 lesson series is available for $300. 

Semi-private lessons for groups ranging from 2 to 4 junior golfers are available at $50 per student for a one hour lesson.  Five lesson series of semi-private lessons for juniors is $200 per student.

Kung Fu Golf – Junior Beginners

For junior players ages 10 to 17 interested in learning the game and participating in a fun, group situation, I am pleased to offer my Beginner program for junior golfers.   The participant in this program will begin by learning the basics of the golf swing, the rules of the game and proper golf etiquette.  As the student progresses, they will be presented with written tests and skills testing to gauge progress. 

This program will be run somewhat similarly to a martial arts school in that proper etiquette and discipline will be followed as part of the curriculum.    The goal of this program is to not only introduce the game to junior players and help them improve, but also to make them better people so they can be prepared for the journey of life. 

This program will involve a monthly tuition where the student will have the opportunity to attend up to three classes each week at either the 11 am session or 4 pm session on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.   No more than 12 students will be accepted in either session.  A minimum of 6 students will be required for either session.  This program will be available beginning the first week of April 2011.  It will run each season through the end of September.   Monthly tuition for this program is $129.   Six month advanced tuition is available for $600.
